Here’s a peek into my fridge! 1 week after I bought it from Courts! Bought for 95 smackaroos and I think it is a good price indeed. From 175.

Let’s see… water on the top along with some lavander masks. I took out one of those sliders by the way. Lower deck has 3 cans of beer behind (from DFS last year), 1 can 100 plus 1 can coke lite, 5 cans coffee and 1 can milo (hidden) all at 50c each. 3 bottles of beer on the door deck (I took one out), 3 tubes containing moisturisers and masks (with another 10 different ‘accessories’ from Lab series, they should hire me to be a spokesperson), and on the upper door deck, kinder bueno and M&Ms, both 50c each too. Don’t ask me where I got them from!

I have my cup and teaspoon that would have belonged in there but it is sitting on my table right now.

And oh yeh.. egg tart. hmmm.. from Mom. Didn’t really wanna eat it there and then. So into the fridge it goes! Maybe I will have it tomorrow morning.

And there you go! My chill out corner. I will improve on it soon enough, with healthier snacks. Anyone wanna contribute healthy stuff to my chillout corner?

No 2 words today but I’ll share 2 lines that someone told me barely an hour ago.

We were talking bout work and the flu virus being part of work too, came up.

And then it went onto viruses. The notion that perhaps such stuff are meant to correct a population. Regardless how near perfect a living body is built, there must be a weakness. Be it a feline virus or something like HIV.

And the great 2 lines came. He asked me if I knew why there is HIV in the world.

"It is a man made virus cause of homosexuals. We straight people all don’t get it one."

To each their own..

Just when I thought I was done with him and recently, the cats, he made me cry again.

Sometimes I really wonder why didn’t I heed the advice of everyone. Maybe cause I understand the difficulties he is going through. I was nasty and I told him off this morning.Love? I don’t know. But I do know I have moved on.

Oh well… hopefully when his room is up he will be able to sleep better. I can sympathise how tough it can be.

I will really appreciate it if people don’t make me yell at them.

I think Rach can relate to what that means..

Life has it.. that when I need to sleep early cause of work the following day, I can’t. I’d wake up feeling like crap the next day. Now that I have taken a couple days off, I dozed off promptly at 10.30pm and I woke up even before my alarm clock rang at 6.45am. GAWD. I dozed off watching Timothy Go dish out the news… not his fault though. I was really tired. I always am, but it is not often that I can doze off just like that.

Maybe it is the thought that I don’t have to go to work the next day. The thought of Jay and Jayme’s cats are gonna be just fine. The thought of Rach being done with her exam. Ceddy’s gone to Tampines to pick up something (poppers?) so he should be fine too.

Everyone who was stuck in a runt somehow, all became alright overnight. The power of prayers?

Okay time to do my technical blog before the stock market opens. Before that I am gonna click one round across the blogs and zap on the nuffnang ads:P

It’s been a while since I last teared. The last time I did I was sitting right here, talking to an ex online.

Never in my wildest dreams, would I think I would tear for a feline pet. Cats and me never had anything in common. But I agree with Rach.. they are really like kids. Wanna put the cat back in the cage, he tries to escape still. It is like he knows he is gonna be admitted..

Dogs on the other hand,  I tell it to go in, she won’t even dream of disobeying.

But Jayme and Jay’s cats brought me a lil closer to the feline world. I was at the prata shop next to the NUS bukit timah campus into the wee hours of the morning and cats strolled around me, rubbing against my legs and I stroked them.

I feel very sorry for the poor cats. I also share the pain of Jay and Jayme.

Rach is sick. Ceddy is sick. I am absorbing all the aura… I am trying to find a place to channel them. So far no luck.

I ask everyone pray for Jay and Jayme’s cats. Warded are Toby and today, Taffy. At home are 3 remaining ones, Tabby (the mother), Texas, and another one I cant remember the name…

Whether you know them or not, it will be appreciated. From me in the very least.

The princess is sick. Another cat tested positive for the virus. Toby doesn’t look very optimistic today. And from the food intake at home it doesn’t look optimistic for the rest too. Taffy was brought in today.. in a span of 2 days he had lost 300g from 6kg to 5.7kg. Jay and Jayme don’t deserve it. The financial burden and the very real possibility of losing their pets.. is very traumatic. If only if I were a vet.. maybe I could have urged them to have the cats vaccinated early. I always try to share my knowledge on things via advisories and all. But this one.. perhaps even the best vet is powerless. I gave Jayme my take on what to do with the other cats.. but it is really up to them and the cats now. All I can do now.. is to pray for them.. All of them.

Now I can have my own lil chill-out corner, so to speak!

I can see where he is coming from but i disagree with his deduction.  To turn it around, does he imply countries that do not fine people for littering and chewing gum is allowed = people have self respect? In fact what has self respect got to do with this? And is he getting senile? In one line he wonders why you can’t chew gum here and then agree that it is right not to chew gum.

I don’t know if he was misquoted (again) or perhaps he just doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about.

I think, Jackie Chan has no self respect of his own making baseless claims and assuming so many things that are groundless. I have a pet peeve and that is for people who love to ASSUME. What the hell is wrong with him.

SINGAPOREANS have no self respect, action movie star Jackie Chan told an audience of businessmen.
He said this in the same speech at the annual Boao Forum in Hainan last Saturday, at which he said Chinese people need to be ‘controlled’.

In that address, he reportedly said of Singapore: ‘A lot of people are not like those in USA and Japan who voluntarily have self-respect. When you don’t have self-respect, the government will have to control you.

‘In Singapore, you have to abide by Singapore’s regulations. In China,you can litter, In Singapore, try littering and you will be jailed immediately.’ Shin Min Daily news had earlier this week published a transcript of his ‘freedom speech’ which touched on the issued of liberty in China.

The 55-year-old sparked an uproar after he told a business forum last Saturday that ‘we Chinese need to be controlled’, lamenting that freedom had made Hong Kong and Taiwan societies chaotic. ‘I’m not sure if it’s good to have freedom or not,’ said Chan, who added: ‘If we’re not being controlled, we’ll just do what we want.’

The backlash against Chan has escalated even after his spokesman claimed that he was referring to freedom in the entertainment industry and not Chinese society as a whole.

In China, a prominent Beijing academic is leading a group of locals calling for a boycott of Chan’s ‘Believe in China’ charity concert on May 1, which will be the first music event held at the iconic Bird’s Nest stadium.

In that speech, he also lashed out at Singaporeans’ lack of social graces, The New Paper reported on Saturday. ‘Sometimes, I wonder why I can’t eat chewing gum in Singapore. Then, I think it’s actually right not to eat chewing gum," he was reported as having said.

I read MrOx blog and he also used the word ephiphany. I don’t really like this word somehow. I think I prefer epitome better. Erphiphanies does sound like something they surgically remove from my anus.
