I am alive!
Jun 30, 2009 in My Shout Outs
Hey folks. It has been a long time since I last posted. No worries, I am fine, thanks to all for your messages and stuff. There hasn’t been much to speak about. I have been working hard on my other blog doing stuff and all. Work is also extremely busy due to the flu pandemic and the financial services as a whole are jittery. As my department deals with business continuity (even though I think it the onset should be on the corporate operation risk management team, nonetheless we have a lot of policies to decide on, defining triggering events that will invoke BCP. I will also be moving one of my team mates to our BCP site. Basically, it has already been determined that it is a matter of time the button will be pressed. We just need to figure out what the triggering factor is, and what we need to do. Do we do something if someone in the building tests positive? What about within the company? Or within the floor? If so, what is the protocol to follow? While we have our own BCP already, we need to factor that this is a flu pandemic so there will be protocols we have to figure out which the company is expected to comply to as soon as top management endorses it.
Out of work, I am looking forward to a month of celebrations for myself, and the july cancerian babies. It is unfortunate and disappointing that not everyone intended is gonna join. Such is life which I have accepted, shrugging it off like dandruff. I will of course, be doing video roving reports and posting it out. First up, a weekend at Ubin and a stay at Changi itself.
Coming up end of this year, unlike what I did last year, I will be doing a sillypore top 20 countdown 2009. 20 of my favorite hits based on my itune’s track count, as well as a 1 hour special paying tribute to Michael Jackson.
I hope everyone’s well. As the first half comes towards a close, I wish for a better second half for everyon!
