Wednesday’s Musings.
I am not sure how I can articulate this out.. but there is a certain ‘feel’ when one receives his new IC. I also got my new passport recently coincidentally as it was expiring. Most of us have begun working before we turn 30. However this is different. Perhaps those have gone through this passage will know what I mean. Those who have yet to, well, see if you share the same sentiment in time. It is the feeling to the tune of ‘welcome to the real working world, where REAL expectations are gonna be part and parcel of your life’. We guys can work for 5 years since 25 and to be frank, NOT be in the REAL working world. When I received my IC it is like wow, it is like a new life has just begun. A new IC, a new picture (that will last me till the day I die technically for now as there are no more compulsory replacement exercises), a new passport, a new beginning and new endeavours.
That said, as I have been working on my trading techniques and skills, I feel my ability to detach myself emotionally has gone up a few notches in tandem. It is like out of the 10 levels in martial arts, I see myself heading up notch by notch. My ability to detach emotions has been somewhat tested a couple times recently. I think I did pretty alright.
Moving on, the year long list of resolutions that I did… I’m proud to announce that I have accomplished all the little ones. The larger ones will take time, while the mid sized ones will be done by December as the self paid courses and exams will be done by December only.
I’m looking forward to the couple stuff planned for the next few weeks and all. I hope things will turn out great n fun! *crosses fingers* I will be putting up photos, soon!
